Flower Care Guide

Your flowers have been handcrafted to be enjoyed for as long as possible. Select the type of flowers you received below and follow the simple care instructions.

Bouquets

  • Remove the wrapping carefully and place your flowers in a clean vase.
  • Remove any leaves that will sit below the waterline.
  • Trim 1–2 cm from each stem at an angle using clean, sharp scissors or secateurs.
  • Add fresh, cool water and flower food. Top up the water daily and replace it completely every two days.
  • Keep your bouquet in a cool position away from direct sunlight, heat, draughts and ripening fruit.
  • Remove fading flowers and leaves as needed.

Floral Arrangements

  • Your arrangement has been created in water-soaked floral foam. Keep the flowers in the container and avoid removing the stems.
  • Check the foam daily and slowly add fresh water through the centre of the arrangement. Take care not to overfill the container.
  • Place the arrangement on a level, water-resistant surface to protect furniture.
  • Keep it in a cool position away from direct sunlight, heat, draughts and ripening fruit.
  • Remove fading flowers and leaves as needed.

Hatboxes

  • Keep your hatbox upright and always lift it from underneath—never by the ribbon or lid.
  • The flowers are arranged in water-soaked floral foam. Check it daily and slowly add a small amount of fresh water through the centre of the flowers.
  • Avoid pouring water onto the flowers or the outside of the box, and take care not to overfill it.
  • Place the hatbox on a level, water-resistant surface and keep it away from direct sunlight, heat, draughts and ripening fruit.
  • Remove fading flowers and leaves as needed.

Vase Arrangements

  • Your flowers have arrived arranged and ready to enjoy. Check the water level daily and top it up with fresh, cool water.
  • Replace the water completely every two days where practical. Clean the vase, then trim 1–2 cm from the bottom of each stem at an angle before placing the flowers back into fresh water.
  • Make sure no leaves are sitting below the waterline.
  • Keep the vase in a cool position away from direct sunlight, heat, draughts and ripening fruit.
  • Remove fading flowers and leaves as needed.
