Northside Flower Market has been operating in Stafford for over 25 years. Our team of florists makes arrangements and bouquets daily for any occasion.

We are looking for an experienced Florist with funeral experience for Monday to Friday shifts of around 30 hours per week.

Tasks include:

• Making bouquets and arrangements to order using existing recipes.
• Making custom bouquets and arrangements.

Shifts usually start at 7.30am.

There is also the opportunity for Saturday work, and longer shifts/weekend work at key seasonal events such as Valentine’s Day, Mothers’ day and in the lead up to Christmas.

Requirements

• Floristry experience including prior funeral work.
• Customer service experience will be viewed favourably.
• The ability to work on your feet and to move and carry bouquets in water and arrangements.
• The ability to prioritise orders.

The role at commencement is casual and per the General Retail Industry Award, ($33.96 per hour Monday to Friday, $40.76 per hour Saturdays) plus superannuation. A full-time position may be offered at the end of a probationary period.
