Emily & Matt's dreamy chapel wedding

July 16, 2019

Emily & Matt chose a romantic colour palette of dreamy soft pink roses and seasonal blooms with pops of rustic burgundy throughout... and we cannot stop looking at their stunning images from the amazing Ivory and Rose Photography!

What inspired your Wedding Flowers?

My dress and venue probably inspired my flower choices the most. My dress was a very soft pink colour and the venue had such an old fashioned romantic theme to it, so I knew I wanted a very soft colour palette. We got married out in Kalbar, so there was also a rustic feel to the day which is why I chose a feature of deep burgundy in my bouquet as well.

What was your favourite part about the florals we designed for you?
My favourite part of my bouquet would have to be these large lush soft pink roses that were chosen. They just honestly looked so beautiful and suited the romantic theme perfectly!

What was the biggest highlight of your wedding day?
So hard to choose one highlight from the day! But a special memory is driving to the ceremony - my mum was driving and just me and my dad were in the back. Dad and I were drinking mini bottles of champagne together and mum was yelling at us not to spill anything on my dress or his suit. Next thing we go over a bump in the road and dad spills champagne all over his crisp white shirt minutes before he is meant to walk me down the aisle. We burst out laughing but never told mum. Maybe she'll realise when the photos come back...

"Northside flower market were an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish. They were patient and friendly during all of our contact and I can't recommend them enough!!"
